Partners Joe Keane and Sadie Tamplin lead the On Pointe team of consultants with over 35 combined years of experience, successfully adding value for organizations of all sizes, from start-ups to mature DSO’s. The On Pointe team is comprised of a talented group of individuals that have worked together for 10+ years, developing multi-faucet improvements for each company that they’ve worked with. From centralizing organizational departments and operations, to streamlining and improving revenue cycle functions and receivables, to improvement of profits from addition of financial and operational controls to implementation of successful compliance programs, the On Pointe team can offer a wide scope of benefits for your organization.
SADIE TAMPLIN Partner
Sadie currently serves as a leader for her team of consultants with expertise in both operational and financial strategies. These areas include revenue cycle, accounting, marketing, compliance, supply and cost management, operational processes and manuals, vendor contracts, provider negotiations, and credentialing. Sadie has a history of implementing many initiatives for larger DSO’s. She developed and launched a comprehensive compliance and quality assurance program for a large pediatric dental DSO, and she also served on the software training and implementation team for that DSO, leading the conversion team as they transitioned the practice to improved technology and transformed operational protocol for newly acquired practices. Sadie has also developed specialty departments within general practices. She most recently grew an oral surgery practice from the opening of their first location to a multi-state, 7+ location group within 4 years. For this practice, she established and oversaw the revenue cycle department for the specialty providers as well as all operational functions.
Sadie Tamplin is the President and Operations Manager for On Pointe Business Solutions (OPS). Sadie develops and oversees operational and financial strategies for practices of all sizes; driving growth, performance, and collection efficiencies. With over 15 years in the dental industry, in both private and DSO models, Sadie possesses the skillset for multi-facet development and optimization of large groups. She also has extensive experience offering strategic solutions and growth modeling for the smaller practitioner. Regardless the practice size, she offers insight for developing areas of operational efficiencies and improves the financial performance and collections.
Sadie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgia State University, specializing in writing and communication. She currently resides in beautiful Madison, GA just east of Atlanta.
Joseph "Joe" Keane Partner
Joseph (Joe) Keane has more than 20 successful years of creating value in a wide range of entity life stages ranging from start-ups to scaling mature growth platforms in the healthcare industry. Joe’s experience includes financial and operational C-Suite roles with private, publically traded, and P/E backed growth companies. He also has extensive experience as a restructuring officer turning around distressed companies. He has in depth experience in the Dental Service Organization (DSO) sector as well as other “Provider side” healthcare management sectors including hospital, institutional pharmacy, long-term care, orthodontics, and vision. Additionally, previously Joe had served at the Cabinet level for the Governor of the State of Tennessee in the Deputy Commissioner position to restructure the Medicaid system. While serving in this capacity he also led receiverships for several distressed HMOs and other regulated health insurance entities which gives Joe valuable experience on the “Payer side” of the healthcare system.
Earlier in his career, Joe served as both SVP and CFO of the Castle Dental Corporation (CASL.OB). In these roles he was instrumental in the successful restructuring and turnaround of this publicly traded Dental Service Organization (DSO). Subsequently he served in C-Suite roles for several other DSOs, including D4C Dental Brands and for Hero DVO (Dental, Vision, Orthodontics).
Prior to that Joe worked for Columbia / HCA (publicly traded national hospital system) supporting mergers and acquisitions and in government relations focused on state government health systems development.
Joe founded and served in C-Suite roles of several technology and internet companies during the 1990s. He is a founding partner of Harpeth Consulting which serves organizations of all sizes across the continuum of the healthcare industry including for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare providers, payers, and federal, state, and local government healthcare agencies.
In the financial area, Joe is a Certified Public Accountant and serves as Treasurer on the Board of the Care Foundation of America.
